The objective of OSTEON is to experiment with the concept of collaborative hypermedia in the development of an Orthopaedic Study Syllabus for Postgraduate Orthopaedic Trainees' preparing for the RCPSC Examination in Canada. OSTEON currently uses MOODLE (Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) which is a powerful Learning Management System with useful tools for the creation of a collaborative hypermedia resource.
